Are all these roads this bumpy? Nice to be the driver cause you allways have something to hang on to , no matter how bumpy. As we left one of the nicest motel,so far, we headed east toward no-where, can't get lost that way. Gotta like it when you drive thru towns, burgs, or svills you see people about 5 or 6 feet away from your vehicle just watching or relaxing. One of the things I've noticed that people out here do ALOT of is, relax on their front porches in the evening. We would see sometimes 12/15 people just hangin' around and visiting. At our lunch stop, pumpkin pie and whipped cream, as we sat in front of this little store eating almost everyone walking by would say Hi or how ya doin. We stopped at a community flea market, and man what a mess(thats what we thought). Apparently some people are a little less fortunate then us, cause at the end of the two day event people were just taking things, clothes, cookware, furniture ect.... some of the bare essentials to survive. These items must have been free, cause we couldn't see anybody around taking money for these things. As we left that area, we headed toward ROCKPORT, where we were able to set foot,feet, into the warm Atlantic Ocean. For those of you that know about the other Rockport in WA. there must be something about trains and Rockport cause this town had a train too. We now are in Augusta,ME where we will be sending a rainy night, and in the morning make our first major change of direction-South.
